Code of conduct for customer
Welcome to the Vua Thợ community!
At Vua Thợ, we are committed to building a service ecosystem that is safe, transparent, and mutually respectful. To achieve this, we not only set high standards for our Service Providers but also kindly ask for the cooperation of our valued Customers.
This Code of Conduct was created to ensure all interactions on the platform are conducted in a civil and effective manner, protecting the legitimate rights of both Customers and Service Providers. By using the Services, you agree to adhere to the rules below.
The Golden Rules for Customers
1. Respect and Civil Communication
- Communicate Courteously: Please maintain a polite, courteous, and respectful tone when communicating with Service Providers, from the initial inquiry until the work is completed.
- No Discrimination: Any language or behavior that is demeaning, discriminatory, harassing, or defamatory towards a Service Provider is strictly prohibited.
2. Transparency and Honesty
- Provide Accurate Job Descriptions: When creating a service request, please provide the most detailed and honest information possible about the issue or work requirement. The more detail you provide, the more accurately our AI system and Service Providers can suggest services and reference pricing.
- Avoid Sudden Changes in Scope: Please avoid completely changing the scope or nature of the work from the original description after the Service Provider has arrived. If additional work arises, please discuss and agree upon it with the Service Provider.
3. Safety First
- Ensure a Safe Working Environment: You are responsible for ensuring the workspace for the Service Provider is safe and free of hazards (e.g., exposed electrical wires, fire risks, unrestrained aggressive pets).
- Safeguard Personal Valuables: Please manage and secure your valuable personal assets before the Service Provider arrives to avoid any unfortunate losses. Please inspect your property when the Service Provider leaves the work location.
4. Adherence to Platform Processes
- Confirm and Pay Through the Application: All agreements on pricing and payment should be made and confirmed through the Vua Thợ Application. Available payment methods include bank transfer, cash, and e-wallets.
- No Off-Platform Transactions: Please do not enter into separate, private agreements with Service Providers to perform work outside the application to avoid platform fees. This action will void any protection from Vua Thợ regarding your rights (e.g., dispute resolution, verified Service Provider information). As per the Terms & Conditions, Vua Thợ reserves the right to apply sanctions for this behavior.
Handling Violations from Customers
To maintain a fair environment, Vua Thợ will take action in response to customer violations. Depending on the severity and frequency of the violation, Vua Thợ may apply one or more of the following measures:
- Official Reminder or Warning: For minor, first-time offenses.
- Temporary Suspension of Service Booking Feature: For repeat minor offenses or for actions such as repeatedly canceling confirmed jobs or intentionally submitting false reviews that harm a Service Provider.
- Permanent Account Deactivation: For particularly severe violations such as assault, threats, harassment of a Service Provider, systematic fraud, or violation of Vietnamese law.
